Mega Man Dual Override is a 2027 multiplatform release. Capcom’s official site lists Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox (Series and One via the Xbox branding on the site), Steam, and Epic Games Store. Wikipedia and store pages match that set. This page is the buyer’s map, not a benchmark spreadsheet.

Nintendo

Switch 2 is the version with a public performance note: V Jump and VGC reported 60 fps in handheld during Gamescom coverage. That is a demo observation, not a shipping guarantee. Switch (original) is still listed. Dual Override is a 2.5D action game, so last-gen Nintendo hardware is plausible even if it does not match Switch 2’s handheld number.

Buy Switch 2 if you want the version people filmed in a crowd. Buy Switch if that is the hardware you have and you accept that Capcom has not published a comparison slide. Do not assume a Switch 2 upgrade pack exists. None is announced.

PlayStation

PS5 and PS4 are both official. The Gamescom PlayStation trailer is the video sitting on the Gamescom 2026 recap. Dual Override is a traditional pad game. A DualSense haptic fantasy is unlisted. Use the controls guide for the demo mapping, including slide on Circle.

PS4 is a last-gen SKU, not a rumor. If you only own a PS4, you are still in the audience Capcom printed.

Xbox

Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One are in the platform set. Steam’s store page also lists Xbox controllers and Steam Input for the PC build, which is a separate sentence from the Xbox console SKUs. If you live in Game Pass rumors, stop. Capcom has not announced Dual Override for subscription day one. This wiki will not either.

PC

Steam app 4223290 is the wishlist ID. Epic Games Store is named by Capcom. Steam currently lists full controller support, Xbox controller support, and Steam Input. Steam Deck compatibility is listed as unknown. Keyboard binds are unlisted. If you are a keyboard Mega Man 11 player, wait for an overlay rather than copying an old INI.

Family Sharing is listed on some Steam trackers. Treat that as store metadata, not a promise that every future edition will stay shareable.

Dual Override is single-player. Cross-save is unlisted. Cross-play is irrelevant. Buy the box you will actually sit in front of in 2027.
